Metaverse Trust is the self-regulation project for privacy protection within Second Life and all virtual worlds.

It represents absolutely the first example of privacy self-regulation based on trading. Requests are traded between those who want to analyse and profile users and those who want to protect their own data.

Metaverse Trust is an intermediary between two parties with different interests: the owners of virtual lands who want information and detailed profiles of users and the users themselves who want to safeguard their privacy.

Metaverse Trust guarantees to inhabitants and landowners of metaverses, maximum freedom and protection of their rights and desires. This is achieved through a system based on trust and trading of proprietary requests.

Metaverse Trust allows Sim owners to specify how and what they want to analyse. Avatars can then agree and deny their own consent to individual requests.

Metaverse Trust automatically provides privacy information to various analytical tools. These then update themselves in real time so as to respect the privacy of individual Avatars present in various Sims.

Metaverse Trust is the trademark of security entrusted to Sims which adhere to this policy and use analytical tools that respect the specifications of Metaverse Trust.
